الملخص

This study investigates the Islamic Charitable properties (Awqaf)، asassigned by Sultans and other pious people، at the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron during the Mamluki period. Such Awqafs were registered within records at the Islamic Legal Court at Jerusalem during the Ottoman period. Such records were very influential in preserving such charitable properties (Awqaf).The Study consists of an introduction and a general preface on Awqafs' meanings، classifications، and reasons for assigning them as Awqaf during the Mamluki period، in addition to some description and illustration of such awqaf as stated in such record. The significance of the study arises due to the lack of any availability of such investigation. In fact، other researchers used to rely on certain places or terminology without being sure of its adequacy. Therefore، the originality of this research stems from the fact that it can benefit those who are interested in the Islamic cultural heritage.
